Loop Groups are a small family of believers committed to living out God’s mission together in everyday life to particular people and places. These groups gather in homes throughout the city to live out the “one anothers” while also embracing those whom God has placed in their lives. If you are looking to be encouraged, supported, prayed for and loved on a consistent basis, please check the email below or contact the best group for you here.
To sign up for a Loop Group, email AndrewJohnson@NeartownChurch.org.
The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked? Take a few minutes to read these baptism facts.
You can also find out more about what the Bible says regarding baptism by visiting the Next Steps table on Sunday morning!
At Neartown, we believe that God has given each person a gift to serve in His Kingdom. There are many opportunities to serve at Neartown and we want you to find the one that best suits your gifting, passion, personality and availability.
The first step to serving at Neartown is to understand your gift or gifts by taking this free, online "Spiritual Gift Survey." Once you've done that, check out these descriptions of what these gifts are and where they can be used. After completion, email AndrewJohnson@NeartownChurch.org with your top three. We'll see where God can use the gift he's given you here at Neartown!
Mission Partnership (Membership)
We believe every Christ-follower should belong to a local church and take ownership of that church. Ownership at Neartown includes serving, giving and participating in biblical community.
We offer periodic Mission Partner Prep classes where you'll learn the vision and values of Neartown. At MPP we'll teach you the core values our church lives by. At the end of the class you'll have an opportunity to become a partner in this mission with us.
