We'd Love to Meet You
Life in Houston moves fast. Between work, family, relationships, and everything else competing for your attention, it can be difficult to find peace.
At Neartown Church, we're inviting busy people to experience the peace of life with Jesus Christ through authentic community, practical teaching, and meaningful faith.
Whether you've followed Jesus for years, are returning to church, or simply have questions about faith, you'll be welcomed here.

What Should I Expect?
A typical Sunday gathering lasts about 75 minutes.
You'll experience:
• Modern worship music
• Practical, Bible-centered teaching
• A welcoming environment
• Friendly people who won't pressure you
• Opportunities to connect with others
• A clear next step if you'd like to get involved
Many people attend Neartown because they're looking for community, purpose, and a deeper relationship with God.
What About My Kids?
KidCity is available every Sunday during the school year for birth through 5th grade. In the summer, grade school kids get to worship alongside their parents.
Our trained and background-checked volunteers create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children learn about Jesus at their level.
If you'd like to see the KidCity area before your first visit, we'd be happy to arrange a tour.
For more information, visit our KidCity page.
What About Students?
Our Student Ministry serves students in grades 6–12 and meets regularly throughout the month.
For more information, visit our Student Ministry page.
What Should I Wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable.
Some people wear jeans and sneakers. Others dress up a bit more. You'll see a little of everything at Neartown.
Come as you are.
Do I Need to Bring Anything?
Nope.
If you own a Bible, feel free to bring it. If not, we'll gladly provide one for you.
Many people use a Bible app on their phone and take notes digitally.
I'm Not a Christian. Is That Okay?
Absolutely.
You don't need to believe everything we believe in order to visit.
Neartown is a place where people can ask questions, explore faith, and learn about Jesus at their own pace.
You are welcome here.
