KidCity
Helping Kids Discover the Peace of Life with Jesus Christ
KidCity is Neartown Church's ministry for children from birth through 5th grade.
Our goal is simple: to help children experience the peace of life with Jesus Christ in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Every KidCity volunteer is trained, background checked, and committed to creating a place where children feel loved, valued, and excited to learn about God.
What to Expect
Children are checked in before the service and placed in age-appropriate environments led by caring volunteers.
Each Sunday includes:
Biblical teaching
Worship and prayer
Interactive activities
Age-appropriate lessons
Fun and meaningful relationships
We want every child to know that God loves them and that church is a place where they belong.
Summer Schedule
During the summer months, KidCity is available for children from birth through Pre-K.
Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade join their families in the main worship gathering and are provided with supplemental worksheet activities designed to help them engage with the service.
Our full KidCity program for Kindergarten through 5th grade resumes at the end of the summer.
Safety & Security
Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities.
Every child receives a secure check-in tag.
Parents receive a matching security tag for pick-up.
Children are released only to the adult holding the matching tag.
All KidCity volunteers are screened, trained, and background checked.
Parents may not enter children's areas without a KidCity leader present.
If your child has allergies, special instructions, or unique needs, please let us know during check-in.
Wellness Policy
To provide a healthy environment for all children and volunteers, we ask that children not attend KidCity if they have experienced any of the following symptoms within the previous 24 hours:
Fever
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Severe cough
Nasal drainage
Sore throat
Eye infection
Head lice
Thrush
Unexplained skin rash or infection
Open skin lesions or wounds
Symptoms of an infectious childhood illness
Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment for every child.
