Temporary Relocation
Starting Sunday, January 5, Neartown Church will gather in the Chapel at South Main Baptist Church for a temporary season while our current space at The Council on Recovery is being remodeled.
Our new service time will be 9:00am.
Not Displaced, but Deployed – An Acts 8 Moment
In Acts 8, the early church was scattered, but the gospel didn’t slow down—it spread. In the same way, we don’t see this move as being displaced but as being deployed.
God is giving us a unique opportunity to worship in a new space, welcome new neighbors, and continue the mission He’s already given us: inviting busy people to experience the peace of life with Jesus.
This is not just a logistical shift; it’s a chance to live out our faith in a fresh context.
What’s Changing
Location:
We’ll meet in the Chapel on the South Main Baptist Church campus.
(You’ll see clear signage on campus to help you find the Chapel.)Service Time:

What’s Staying the Same
The same Neartown Church family

How Long Will We Be There?
This is a temporary relocation for the duration of the remodel at The Council on Recovery (approximately five months). We’ll keep you updated on timelines and any changes along the way.
