Financial Accountability in the Leadership Structure
Financial accountability and stewardship are vital components of a healthy church leadership structure. To ensure transparency, alignment with biblical principles, and operational efficiency, the Finance Team should have a clearly defined role that is integrated into the existing structure.

Biblical Basis for Financial Stewardship
Stewardship of Resources: The church is responsible for managing its finances wisely as stewards of God’s provisions (1 Corinthians 4:2, Matthew 25:14-30).
Integrity and Transparency: Leaders must handle finances with integrity, ensuring honesty and accountability (2 Corinthians 8:20-21).
Generosity and Giving: The church should encourage a culture of cheerful giving and generosity among its members (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
